Stern's Next Pin - TWD 2014 / 2015
« on: August 27, 2014, 02:18:22 PM »
It was rumored that Stern was going to release their next pin this Friday but it looks like another promoter got the jump on Stern. The QR code directs to a valid but not available link as yet.

For me, pass but sure it will make some people happy.

Not my cup of tea but I'm sure there will be plenty who like it.

Been done.  ()

Plus this one has video modes, something I'm sure Stern will omit.

Sweet!
I'm looking forward to this one as I'm a big fan of the comics and the TV series, so win win for me.
Just have to hope it's a good game.
Lots of drop targets maybe, to simulate knocking down the walkers?
Please Stern, don't stuff this one up. :)

Yeh.. nice change of direction. Monster games are always more fun!

There's the rub. If Stern had just done it as a generic zombie themed pin and sold it on gameplay design and code they would have a surefire TIMELESS winner.

As it is, they are dating it right from the beginning by linking it to the current hot TV show du jour - a'la CSI/24.

I do hope this title succeeds, but I want Stern to be able to build a pin with innovation and design so radical that it will still be talked about/desired in 10+ years time.

The possibility of a new display type does sound very promising though.  ^^^

Very pleased with the theme and I'm looking forward to the artwork package. Hopefully, this will be Trudeau's design. If it is, I'd be very interested.

I haven't gotten into the show but I like the theme. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with on this one.

+1

It is a Borg design with Lyman code.
It is a perfect theme for pinball and could be one of the best games ever if done right, lets hope Stern do it justice.
