Have an issue on 1993 Indiana Jones whereby while playing the sound randomly and automatically turns up to full volume. Deafening indeed!! Any help would be appreciated.  ^^^

It is a weird random issue, i have come across 3 IJ that do exactly the same thing. There are a few threads around, and no solution as far as i can determine.  There was no logical pattern to it going insanely loud that i could determine.

Yeh weird is right! Have removed the two caps on the DCS board C37 und C45 to clean up the sound but this was a case of desperation!! Also applied fresh heat sink compound on the heat sinks but no go......

You could try upgrading your sound rom to L3. It should fix the sound bug.  ^^^
