Williams Black Knight soud board issue
« on: January 17, 2015, 01:32:13 PM »
Having trouble with my BK sound board, the sound is cutting in and out, while checking it I found that the transistor with the large heat sink near the top is real hot to touch when the board is running.
Is this normal? Haven't noticed it before.
The heat sink at top next to the connectors.

That's the amplifier. It does get warm under normal operations.

If you were to spray the amplifier with freeze spray, does it start operating correctly again?
