Vector price check
« on: January 28, 2015, 09:07:02 PM »
Had a call from a friend today asking what his vector pinball is worth, he would like to sell it to help his daughter pay for her medical bills.
He tells me that the playfield is in good condition and everything works.
I know this isn't much to go on but a rough guide in price would be appreciated.
Cheers
John

Rare game. Different theme, but a VERY good ruleset. does not get the recognition it deserves. It is similar to Flash Gordon in some respects, and the then Cybernaut borrowed a few design ideas. The drop target placement within the rules is interesting. If it has no wear near the centre spot target bank, then you have a good example. Dual backglasses are always in good shape.

Lower end $2300. Top dollar would be $2700 ish. Restored would be $2800 +

I think your prices are a little generous Nino

Calargerlotmagine too many people paying $2800 for one

I do see them come up for sale, usually part of a larger lot, and usually the last to sell

The last one that changed hands was dealer quality "shopped" for $2300. In other words, it needed work. The area in front of the spot targets was worn to wood (small section), and the flippers needed a rebuild.

Man, I just had to look this up on IPDB and it looks like a lot of fun and some nice looking furniture.
How does it play?
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

It is a fast title with an unusually difficult ruleset for a Bally. Watch this very good video from TNT Amusements ;

It looks like a fun challenging game. May have to consider adding to the collection this title one day
Still loving my Metallica Premium
