Ok continuing with my police force. The unit had no backglass. I managed to get a translite for it and need to get a piece of glass made. Can someone tell me the measurenemts of the glass and if possible the thickness, type of glass needed so I can go to a glazier to get one made??

Probably overkill but toughened is used on the playfield so you could use the same type there. As for size...no idea. The edging would probably be beveled though wouldn't it  !@#

Ok thanks to Marty, I picked up his old displays.  As soon as I plugged them in they worked, so I obviously had bad displays and boards.
The plan now is to replace tge u14 chip from my old board and the top glass from my old one and fingers crossed we have a complete working set :)

Ok continuing with this machine.
I got my hands on an old hurricane back box as this one was smashed to bits.
After I remove old decals and patch it up, what is recommended to use to paint it up in preparation for new decals

Ok i have isolated the issue to J3 connector on power board. Even with everything else unplugged this connector is causing f1 to blow

Ok big day today. Went through wiring on back boards and put in any loose connected wires. As a result the ball eject coil  now  works:) This means i can now get a game going.

I also rewired the lights on the back which were  a mess as only one light worked. They  now all work except a few flashers so i will continue to investigate. Might have wired some parts wrong.

Still have that issue  with fuse f1 blowing. Still need to get that sorted.
