I was hoping you would posts some pictures. It looks like an interesting project. The playfield deck looks pretty good in those pictures?,  It looks like your going to have many fun hours with it. I will watch with interest!

Playfield should clean up quite nice, I gave it a quick rub down:)
Just one cracked entrance ramp but thats expected. I also got an extra playfield with the deal :)

Fuse holder on the side of the backbox (right of the grey capacitor) would be my thought.

Yeah I litterally just found that out. I suspect I need a new fuse holder too :)

ok, going through the fuses and found a note in the manual about using a 4A fuse for 220v installations, but as I am little thick on these matters at times, I dont understand which fuse it is referring to. Can anyone shed some light on this. Here is the page I am referring to.

Ok I finally got it all plugged in. Machine turns on and I get a blinking light on the main board.  If I turn it off and on twice I get some playfield lights, but displays dont come on at all.
1.) How can I tell if the displays are ok??

You need to check the display voltages on the power supply first mate.  But off my head I can't remember the exact places to test.  I think they need 100v and 90v

Now measure the power on the display driver board see if it's making it to there

Ok I just noticed that when I touch the side rails I get a shock.  Does this mean the machine in not earthed properly?

It means you stop now and have it looked at. This is the typical project pinball. They were sold as projects for a reason. You may have a mains issue - mains cable not earthed, broken earth strap, or a similar issue to a Secret Service game I looked at that had the fuse holder lugs flapping in the breeze.

Drop the game over in my workshop - I'll have it sorted for you. Electricity is a serious issue.
