Matt,

Great start  $#$

There is no sign of mylar ? Was it previously removed.

The yellows are a lot darker in the "after" shots - is this the camera - or just some very fine cleaning and polishing ?

I think is is just the lighting in the shed Nino, I had to remove the mylar, it was just the factory stuff, under the pop bumpers and the whole upper PF

That's an exceptional result, Matt. What an excellent playfield !

Hey Matt,

That playfield came up sweet  *%* - you are brave man pulling that playfield apart with all those parts!

Also this is a fantastic game to play - took alot of money from me when it was on location.

Keep the updates coming!

Thanks Tony, all those intertwining ramps is a bit daunting when you first look down on it  :D

I Flame Polished the TZ ramps in my last restoration, they came up great. I'll do a thorough post on how to get the best results when I get up to that stage.

From memory of earlier threads it can produce really good results - will be looking forward to a detailed how-to on this one. I take it that it is safe to do even with decals on the ramps?

OK, so it doesn't really matter, then. Still looking forward to the details on how you do this; I think this will be an interesting method. If you can take photos during the actual flame-polishing that would be real handy.

Matt - Make sure you also create a "tips and Hints" thread here -http://aussiepinball.com/index.php?board=31.0

I don't want this info getting lost in the thread, because Fame Polishing is new to most of us (me included) !

Another great typo.

Fame is still a stranger to most of us.

UPDATE:
I had to repair a steel rail on the right side of the 'no way out' entrance, as when the previous owner did the dodgy repair he snaped the foot off so he could insert a star post  @.@
I found a small piece of stainless steel and cut and filed into correct shape then TIG welded into position.  Good as new  *%*

A couple of playfield shots, the lower PF is almost finished
Over the weekend I'll have a look at flame polishing the ramps if I get time
