Jungle princess
« on: February 07, 2016, 08:19:18 PM »
Hi everyone. Just had a look at a old jungle princess. Don't have an older em so wouldn't mind getting one.
Drop targets don't reset. I think it registers that they are down.
Ball lane feeder doesn't work
I think everything else is working
A little pf wear.
Cab seems to be redone but not sure if it is correct.
Not sure about a price.
Any input appreciated
Thanks

Nice looking project pin.
Cab has been redone with a unique design..LOL. I can supply stencils for this game if you restore it.

So long as nothing is missing, this is a nice EM to fix.. drops rebuilt, ball return is most likely a dirty switch or burnt out coil.. a good fixer uperer!

Go for it.

I'd have to get some education about them. I know nothing about how they work. That's half the fun I suppose.

get hold of the Manual & Schematic. for starters.
Check out Clay's Guide here:  http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index.htm
Just take it slow & steady, and make sure you don't have it plugged in when you are working on it.
Ya just gotta luv an EM.

I had a jp nice game. As Gav said the cabinet art is custom and I don't mind it I gues it comes down to how much of a purist you are.

Just be carefull working on those big reset coils 110V , high voltage!!
Unplug the game from the wall before touching those big coils ,
even if the game is switched off by the switch , these older gottlieb EM's can still have live voltage throught to the 3 large coils , read your schematics beforehand.
good luck with the resto xxx
