Yeah i know, thought it was worth a try (the sound of the crickets was deafening!!) . I'll just give the game back without a chime box.. not my problem i just told them i'd TRY to find one but no promises. I have one in a Jacks Open i was thinking of scrapping but i've just had an offer from someone to buy the machine so it's staying with the machine!

It pisses me off that some people pull them out of the machines in the first place, and knowing there are guys out there hoarding these things, i know of two guys not far from me that have a couple each and won't sell.. and i KNOW they'll never use them!!  ::)  oh well such is life .. rant over, as i said not my problem once they have their  Jet Spin back fully working minus the chimes.

Just spotted the link you posted Nino.. have seen these before, they look ok but don't have the resonator box the originals had, don't know how much that would affect the sound though. Actually looking at them again the way they are constructed they look like something i could almost make myself.. not that i'm going to that trouble for this Jet Spin as its really rough cosmetically and wouldn't be worth the effort or time, and this guy its his first machine and just wants it to work and play good, he's not worried about cosmetic condition.

Unfortunately, most EMs shipped to Europe didn't have chimes as sites didn't like the noise distracting the gamblers on the one armed bandits. They had the wiring loom, but not the chimes. Some had a buzzer. A lot of games I imported out of collections from Germany, France and Netherlands simply didn't have them. They do appear on US Ebay, as stupid prices.
