That's an awesome story. Fishing was a pastime I enjoyed when I once had a pastime. Loved boats, but never got around to buying one etc etc. I remember hiring similar boats in Mordialloc years ago.
I still love beach fishing - especially Salmon. Still have a custom rod (double spined) and Abu 6500 reel. But the best fishing was always from a boat. Hopefully you have a good Snapper season
