I wouldn't be worried about a dead pixel or few but reckon it would kill the value of a game when a lcd that fits can not be found - might be like the pin 2000 computer issue, sort of....
just opening it up for peoples thoughts..
a dead pixel would be like ripping someone's heart out on pinside. Saw a guy complain because the plastic flipper button broke on gb. I'm sure it must have devalued his game by thousands
