Tumbler has been going non stop for a week now.
24hrs for each lot with some Brasso now.

Almost all upper playfield parts now done.

Upper pf drop targets completely stripped and rebuilt (thanks to DDSTOYS guide!)

Stencil kit arrived and spray painter is hopefully starting soon.  A lot of work is going into the cab so I cannot wait to see result.

Replacement CPU board arrived.  I went with a Ni-Wumph.  Tested and boots well.  The other board shelved for time being.  I may have a lead on cheap scopes so it can wait.

Box from PBR arrived today    *%*

Still another one to come, then thats IT.

Flipper rebuilds going along slowly.  All 6 are being stripped, completely cleaned and polished and then rebuild with new everything including coils.  The old ones (one original) and the others were a mixed bag so correct type gone back in.

I noticed on ebay, silverball has a clear playfield cover for the lower playfield. May be worth looking at

Thanks PG.

Not needed as Silverball gave me a brand new one (identical) with mine as there was a tiny crack in the corner.  I've got new spacers for it (arrived today) and the bolts for it are on their 20th hr of tumbling!

But thanks heaps for looking out for parts.  Just a NOS backglass is the last thing on my wishlist for it (oh, and NOS playfields)....

Will do, BTW just got off ebay, the cover was for CFTBL (sorry), you must have got the one I saw from Silverball a little while ago.

Got the pleasure of playing Rollerball's real clean example last night and he explained the rule set to the game and there is much more to it that I thought. Fantastic game to play!

I think it is GREAT to see guys like Tony playing DMDs. I have seen quite a few members take on EMs due to Tony's influence, so I think it is only fair he has a DMD !

Bit more progress.  Hopefully after next week I can get back into it properly.

All pop bumper boards replaced on upper playfield.  I will test and rebuild other ones.  I need one for lower pf kickup others will be donated to those in need here or sold on Ebay.

Flippers on upper pf finished and rewired.

Upper playfield transistors upgraded and replaced. 

Been a slow and tedious couple of days.  I have been checking each coil, replacing diode and sleeve as I go.  There are a couple of A-1496 coils that need to be replaced, due to lugs broken off them.

I've been going through the manual and checking all wiring too.  A couple of coils had wires cut and others had popped off so I am ensuring that everything goes back correctly.

More.

Metal strips which surround the bottom side of the playfield window have been polished.  I was planning to get them chromed / plated but I took them to the place due to the plating which was on them it would have to be removed then redone and not worth the expense.

The corkscrew has spent a couple of days in the tumbler.  Nothing more to do to it!
