Rolling Stoned $4750 REFERRED  %.% Good one

Looks like some of the early SS machines are catching up to DMD's in value. Or is it the other way around?

Gotta say I'm surprised to see a few reasonable prices in that lot .
I'd decided not to go to the auction cause I thought there'd be nothing sold for less that $1500 damn !!
I need more room ! and more $$$

The prices look cheap on paper, but barring a few good buys most machines got a very fair price. Educated buyers, and the sellers should be happy overall.

Sad that Star Trek didnt get a chance at sale, for me it was the pick of the lot, with the Captain Fantastic a close second.

I assume the values do not include the 12% buyers fee on top of that?

The original Star Trek? Had a new PF overlay, but 9/10 maybe if you accept that. Didnt see it running though.

Auction buy of the day - Diner for $1200 + 12.5% = $1500. Bought by Jose of Capital Pinball.

I have some photos of The Addams Family that sold for $4000 + 14.5% = $4500. Probably paid too much given the playfield condition, but they are always popular pins.

TAF playfield was crap. Maybe water laying over it at some time and then drying out caused the cracking? The funhouse playfield was less than ordinary. I guess with two new playfields they would come up a treat though.
