Re: Big Ben Score motor

Hi again,
so I have had no luck with the old motor, the mounts that hold the coil in place have cracked and broken so it seems my only option now is to get a new motor.
I have not ordered a 14a-7883 as yet because the 7883 is listed as a 60hz motor and the part 14a-7884 which is the 50hz equivalent does not seem to exist anymore

So as I understand running a 60hz motor on a 50hz supply will mean the motor runs slower and hotter, I don't mind about the slower side of it I am more worried about the new motor cooking its self.
has anyone ever had any experience with this?
