Funhouse (possible purchase)
« on: May 25, 2009, 08:38:10 AM »
I have a chance at snagging a nice funhouse for 2000 canadian. It is
fully working, no issues and is in good to excellent condition
overall. Should I jump at this? I just bought a getaway hsII and I
have an addam's family already. Funhouse was originally the pin I
wanted to begin with, but couldn't find any around here (Kamloops BC
Canada)

Someone got any advice? Is funhouse even worth it? It's about a 7 hour
drive total.

Does the price sound decent? Considering there aren't alot of options
in western canada...

I only want to have 3 pins. So I'm torn as to whether I should find something better as my final pin...damn hard decision..

I am a huge fan, mine gets lots of love. Rudy is still one of the great pinball toys.

You will get good mileage out of Funhouse, and if you do see something you like more later, you should be able to recover the money to fund a different purchase.

Best dmd game? It doesn't even have a dmd display like the newer machines....

I have played funhouse before, so I do know what it's like.

It's an SS - alphanumeric display, not DMD.

Tony hasn't looked at any SS/DMD machines for a while so he has forgotten the difference...

I haven't gotten a good chance to look at it yet..it's a good 3 hr drive there..

I do know the seller personally..so I'll have to ask for pics and more info ..only if I truly decide I want it..

By the time I decide..it will be sold hahaha

Good price if in good condition, go for it, but how can you limit yourself to only 3 pins  <.>
