Bastards!

We had a massive crackdown on 'net usuage about 18 months ago (gee don't know why  )

So we had a limit of how much we use it and only have certain times in the day when it's all access. There is 15 minute opening at morning tea and arvo tea and one hour over lunch at 12-1pm.

So getting into work this morning log onto Aussie Pinball as I do everyday before doing anything and much to my horror I get the 'this web pages is blocked....'

Came as a real shock and 'Big Brother' has been watching! 

Oh wells, that is what you get when you work for a huge US based defence firm....oh by the way I just put in an application for a new job, where they have full 'net access 

At the interview: "So Tony, can you please tell us why you want this job?"
Answer: "Sure - "I can access Aussie Pinball here, can't at the other place I work"

I think i would go postal if they blocked this site at work!! I almost had a heart attack when they blocked you tube...took them a while though

I feel you pain - I had it done to me in February. I had to behave myself for 2 weeks - which I did  

We had a new Proxy installed and I'm buddies with the Admin  


Sometime we forget that Pinball etc are OUR HOBBY - We are paid to work

What they've done is block the domain IP that all those addresses belong to and yes they know which sites you spend most of your time on ;)

Over the years working in IT I found it quite amusing and sometimes shocking to see which employees spent their time on porno sites. You'll be surprised what even the lowliest of IT guys can find out about you from your computer - he he he - that's why you gotta be nice to your IT guy ;)

No the pr*cks have blocked the lot....AP, eBay even Yahoo mail and all associated proxies!

Ah, yeah, most IT guys know about the anonymous proxy sites.

I don't access Aussie Pinball at work, not because it is blocked, but so I can get my work done.

Now, if I was working in the pinball industry it would be part of my job description, wouldn't it!

Well as I work for myself I had to knuckle down on myself and gave myself a stern warning about this site.

Then when I left I laughed behind my back "Lol, "stern warning" hahaha, Stern Pinball"  

My boss has no idea!!

I feel your pain Tony, I had the internet taken off me when they went through all the high users over my work site.
