I have acquired a Spirit of 76 which is in a sad state -chrome corroded and woodwork warped by damp. Looking for a restorer.

Hi is this machine for sale or are you looking for someone to restore it for you?

How about an introduction to tell us about yourself in the introductions section?

If i might fill in here a bit.

Mike approached me at Expo with regard to this machine. From memory, it was sold years back by Mike and recently repurchased. Machine is in a sorry state compared to what it was.
Id be happy to take this project on, but add the cost of transport to brisbane and back and it will get a bit expensive. I pointed Mike in the direction of this forum as there are plenty of members that are in Sydney area that might be able to help out.
from what i can gather - machine no longer works and looks shabby.
Im sure most of the work could be done by Mike himself  - the chrome etc.
He will need someone to get it going though -

If you could post pics on this forum Mike  it would help - would be good to be able to assess the machine

Whereabout in the northen beaches are you?

I am in the Cromer area every now and again and would be happy to have a look at it for you.

I couldn't take it on myself, I think, however would be happy to point you in the right direction?

Let me know

Ric
