What to buy and waht to sell
« on: June 06, 2009, 07:44:41 PM »
Unsure if I'd do this but interested in your thoughts

Current line up
TZ
ToM
T2
RFM
SWEP1 in top cond.

if you had this line up and wanted to buy another title but one had to go, which would you sell and what would you add to the line up?

What one do you play the least?

For arguments sake out SWEP1, in AFM.

are RFM and SWEP1 similar games (i havent played swep1) but if they are that would be the first place i would look to cull  !@# as to what to get to replace it/ Only you can answer that. just dont go a gorgar, flash or jurassic park or that will mean 1 less for me  :lol

Hmm,

I've never played a ToM, but unless I was a Star Wars fan, I'd probably sell the SWEP1.  I've only played it once and it didn't do a great deal for me, but neither did RFM.
T2 is always a good one to go back to and for visitors they like playing it.  TZ keep.

If your SWEP1 is minty, you could even get a B-title DMD and maybe a SS.  I've been around them (working on BH) and having a look at a MGOW, Medusa etc some of these games would compliment any line up.

What game wouldn't you miss in 2 months time? That is the way I worked it when thining out my collection.

Would look at some games and think 'would I regret and miss that game in a week/month/years time?'

If it was my line up id be getting rid of SWEP1 and replacing it with 3 EMs doesnt really matter which ones.  Or you could do what i do and lend em to friends so i have room for a new one !*!

SWE1  (((  never really enjoyed this game, all the shots are repeditive and a little too much video for my liking

T2 is good for visitors and fun for awhile but may grow a bit old on you eventually

End of the day its up to you

As mentioned above, get rid of the one/s you play least. I let TZ,TAF and T2 go from my collection as they were the least played pins. Dont feel like you have to hold onto a machine that others consider an "A" title.

If it was my line-up I'd get rid of the SWEP1 and get an IJ (the original Williams version. Not the Stern).

As previously mentioned though it really depends on what use each pin gets and your personal preferences to themes , deep or easy rulesets etc.

All good suggestions but I like the one about lending to a friend. That solves heaps of problems like:

1. Making more room at home
2. Filling that room with another machine
3. Make friend happy
4. Make wife think you actually could sell a pinney (NOT!!!)  *.*

Already have made enquiries.
