Boy was that nice - and cheap!

Guess we're lucky here in other ways though.

yes it sux we pay 3-4 times what those yanks do for alot of stuff, but what can you do? fill your own container? most of us wouldnt be able to do it. Syndicate container load maybe possible though, 10 guys with some spare cash could take it on.

Totally agree mate.  We came back from the US last month and going through security at every airport was such a pain.  So glad we don't have a Department of Homeland Security in AUS.  They're policed up the wazoo over there, but I gotta admit everywhere we went peeps were incredibly nice to us.

Seriously what would of that Devils Dare got in Australia in that condition?

Not 100% sure on what it would of got but you could of added a zero to that final price (at least)....what do you guys think?

I see it all the time on the US eBay - games from the 1950-65 era sell for 1/5th of the price we would pay here.

It's enough to make me sick  :lol

Not many in Australia, but I recall one very nice DD going for $1500 (or thereabouts) in QLD around 4 years ago. I've never played one, but I do like the artwork on it.

Even after converting US$ to OZ$, the locals seem to add quite a hefty 'loading' onto the price huh?
Some say it's business, but most say it's supply'n'demand (aka Greed), oh well. !*!

On a similar note, I still don't find a $10k+ machine to be "worth" that, and loading a machine up coz of it's name is utter shyte!
As soon as one of them sells $10k pins for $5k, the others will follow, seems to happen EVERY time a pin moves up or down.
