Hellooos
« on: October 22, 2008, 08:45:22 PM »
Hello to everyone here!

I've been lurking around AA a bit but happy to be on AP as well.

I've only got two pinballs at the moment....A DE Simpsons and a T2.  Also have a couple of arcade machines but pinballs are my passion!
I'm tossing up at the moment whether to get another arcade machine or another pinball....tough choice!  I've been wanting this particular arcade machine for a while, but also want another pinny...plus the missus is pushing for another pinny too! (she wants a Flintstones..)
I've still got room for about another 3 or 4 machines in what used to be the 'pool room' (table was given away a while ago to make room!)...

Glad that you posted, and I hope you enjoy the forums.

Flintstones is a GREAT title - Wotto picked one up from MarkC and it was the best I've ever seen. Don't miss the opportunity..

Thanks Strangeways,

I picked up the T2 from Mark....The arcade machine I'm looking at is from him too, but he will have lots of new machines that have arrived out the back which is the problem....!
My lovely saw the Flintstones at Mark's and she has been in love with it since (the machine that is!)...Unfortunately they still go for very good prices which is a bit out of my reach at the moment...I've promised her that after the next machine, we'll save up extra for the Flintstones....

Trust me Mate - I've spent HOURS looking through Mark's pins... and for some unknown reason, I end up taking one (or two) home with me.

Flintstones is a "value" machine, and I think it is starting to earn a lot of respect with collectors.

Welcome to the fun!

Bit confused by your post - let me know if I've got this right:

You have a wife who **wants** you to buy a particular pinball machine, but you have **not** bought it?

I'm sure it's must just be me, but it seemed to suggest you were hesitating buying a pin even with wife support, indeed encouragement.

Usually the guy's have to get "permission" from the missus to buy a pinball... not have them pushing for a particular title!  %.%

I'd say save for the pinnie and get the Flintstones first... then you will be able to buy any other machine you want!  :lol

Oh, and  %)%  MartyJ!

Hehe, no she is quite understanding of my hobby and enjoys playing them too!
I will get her the Flintstones at some stage but I'm looking for a semi project / as is machine to keep me busy for a while, which in turn keeps her happy too!
I would be probably another 3-4 months off saving the rest, so I need a fix now!!!
