I plan to remount the crystal as soon as I get everything fixed. I will also do the chip check soon too. As cheap as the chip is I will probably just buy one and put it in anyways.

UPDATE: Finally got around to looking at the BG sound board. The processor is good for sure. I just put it in my robotron and it functions perfectly. I am 99% sure that it is a capacitor that is dead. The 5 volts is shorting out to ground with only .11 ohms resistance. It is either C2 or C5. Hopefully I am going to test it tomorrow. Figured that I would update you all though.
