Williams Straight Flush head restoration

(1/2) > >>

Top Card:
I purchased the complete head of a Williams Straight Flush with the plan of doing a practice run at a restoration.
I figure it would be a good opportunity to make a lot of mistakes and hopefully learn a lot before I try my hand at a restore that matters.
First up will be the backglass which is missing more paint than it has on it. This is what is should look like.

This is what is does look like

Top Card:
I have been lucky to find some images of the backglass on the net and manipulated them with Paint to fit over some of the worst damaged areas

Top Card:
Tonight I tried out my paint pens and traced the blacklines just to get an idea of what it looks like.
I had some broken glass from an old window, so I taped up the edges to make it safe,
then printed out the image and traced it.

Top Card:
I have never done any art before and this was done freehand, so I am looking forward to using some tools, practising and improving
