GTB SURE SHOT
« on: June 30, 2009, 11:21:01 PM »
This is on ebay with an opening bid of $1999
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sure-Shot-1976-Gottlieb-Pinball-Machine_W0QQitemZ380134411580QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_15?hash=item5881c6cd3c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1|66%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A2|294%3A50

Pics show it as nice nad clean, but $1999 seems a bit ambitious ... or am I out of touch with EM prices?
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.

Nah that guy has been listing that game and a bunch of others for ages.

Soon you'll see the Target Alpha with the Solar City playfield appear  @.@

Weird thing is. If he started the auction low and let the market decide, It will probably get within a couple hundred of that price anyway. Going by some recent EM prices on eBay.

From all reports he is supposed to be a real nice guy but as you say his prices are high.

I was talking with somebody who bought a Coke machine off him and he said he listed the stuff on ePAY as it was a cheap way to advertise.

He keeps listing Coke and Pepsi Vendo machines from the 1950 - 60 era that I would dearly love to buy but they are also listed at double the price of what they are really worth

WTF - $2,499...  For that price I'd want it to be in mint condition - just look at the ball marks near the flipper lanes!!  You could buy 3 project EMs for that price

That's a Solar City playfield in it also  !@#

Once again he is just putting that listing on for exposure - good luck to him!

I noticed on his web site he had sold all of his pre 1965 pins, so he must be doing something right  *%*

The Target Alpha have a close look at the PF above the flippers it appears to me a pretty poor restore paint job. This would be a good question to the seller " could you please show some close up pic's of the lower playfield please ? " the sellers reaction ohh  @.@
