Gary Stern won't stop making Pins
« on: July 11, 2009, 07:55:40 PM »
Just a little article here.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chicago/chi-pinball-side-city-zone-08-jul08,0,6760817.story

Nice to know he has no intention of stopping production in the tuff times over there.

Now if he'd just make an AC DC pin %.%
Pins: The Getaway, TotAN, WH2O, Pinball Magic, Banzai Run, Flintstones, Judge Dredd, Lord of the Rings LE, Metallica LE, Iron Man VE, The Walking Dead LE, Star Trek The Next Generation.

Interesting article. Always good to read about the facts, instead of rumor and lies.

Stern is not going under - We have now heard it from the man himself, rather that gossip from people that can only wish they were in his shoes.

AC DC pin SHOULD be on the plans - great idea for a pinball using today's technology !

Imagine a world without Stern? Not a single Pinball Factory on the planet - I just can't imagine it, hopefully Gary will tough it through these times.

Failing that, Nug and I are coming over to make a 1,000 new games out of all them parts Mark!  &&

Not exactly accurate - we have the "NPF" which has so far produced Coconut Island and has two new titles in the works. I think Hankin produced 6 different titles - theres a challenge for you !

Interesting article, I remember reading once that Gary Stern continuing production of pins was a tribute to his father Sam.  Therefore I guess he would do everything in his power not to let his memory of his father down and continue the legacy.
Long live the pinball!

Stern staying in business is good for pinball. I really do think if Stern closes that will be the beginning of the end for pinball. I hope they're around for years to come.
