OK- so we see the cabinet and headbox needs to be stripped off of this horrendous white paint so we start with the stripping.
Cabinet, Headbox and legs took a total of 8 hours. 8 hours was just to strip the white paint off.
If people think this is easy and mindless work, well its not. Its very tedious.
You've got to be on the ball, can't leave paint stripper on it for too long if you wish to 'TRY' and keep the artwork underneath.
I didn't need to try and keep the artwork as i had intentions of redoing the cab and h-box anyway so i went all out and tried to strip all of it but as i found most of the original artwork was well and truly embedded onto the cab, so i sanded that off....that's a later post..
WARNING, if you are using paint stripper wear a mask. It nearly knocked me out a couple of times !
Its smell is quite potent and can give you dizzy spells, ALSO make sure you wear gloves as it can start to burn through your skin and glasses of course for eye protection !
Me being the person i am i passed on all of the above, but do not take my warning lightly !

Look how vibrant the cab colors are ! This to me indicates that this machine was painted early on in its life.
Its a shame that the paint stripper took bits and pieces of the original art with it.
