YES I am a total NOOB...
« on: August 08, 2009, 11:19:20 PM »
Well I am a complete fool...but hey this is funny

I spent like 3hrs tonight fixing the sound board on my HH...put a new amp on the sound board to fix the blown one...

OR was it blown???

Not sure now...as I put the sound board back into the HH and turned it on...Guess what...no sound...I was a little bummed...but not the end of the world I guess...
MMmm well I just thought I will go over everything just to see if I missed something...

Oh yes....I sure did miss something big time...lol..

The speakers where not plugged in...

They work better when there are wires attached to them...lol...

Anyway sound now working on the machine...will never know if the Amp needed to be fixed..Im guessing that it was working OK...well has a nice new amp on the board at least...LOL..HAHAHAhaha

It's like watching Tiger Woods stuck in a bunker - makes you realise we're all human and makes us "hackers" feel a whole lot better @.@

Glad you got it sorted ^^^, and thanks for sharing %$%

MAN - THAT IS brilliant.
Its hilarious how we all look so hard for things , with our minds racing to work out whats going on, that we just DONT SEE things.

Great to hear it is working.

Yes, same old rule - check for what will be the simplest fix first. (Unfortunately we don't always see what the simplest fix is!)

Well you're not alone, but your post helped me (even though I chuckled when I read it as my HH had no sound at that point). So I got around to checking the speakers - one was dead so as they are in series the other wouldn't work. Fancy the chances of two HH with speaker issues?
