Data East "Time Machine" Good or Bad?
«

I have a chance to snag a Data East "Time Machine" pin. Anybody ever played one before? Good? Bad? I'm thinking about trying to snag it for 1000CAN. He's asking 1400. Pins are few and far between up here in western Canada so the prices are a little higher.
Words of wisdom anyone??

Never played it, but kept my eye out for one for a long time but never seen one come up. I've never seen anything but good things said about this game.

Quite fun to play.
One of those games like Funhouse, WCS 94, Striker Extreme.... where it instantly grabs your attention and does its job in the enjoyment department..
Not many around either. Would have liked more attractive BG artwork tho !

Ya the backglass isn't the greatest. I'm still waiting on an answer from him. I was going to get a Whitewater (great game of course) But it's about 2200CAN and I already have 2 expensive pins (over 3000 each) so I want a more affordable game this time :)

thanks for pointing out this machine - spent some time looking it up on youtube.
Looks rather interesting, and the sound package seems pretty good! Never really heard of it before!
Cheers

I offered him 2500 for all 3 games he has haha. He did say make me an offer :P He's actually asking 4000CAN
Skateball / Dr Who / Time Machine
I'm actually working on a deal for a World Cup 94 instead. 1600CAN. From one of the best restorers in Canada. So I will be getting World Cup for now..and those other 3 if the other guy bites on my lowball offer hahaha

Nothing wrong with the other 3 games you have mentioned. But you'll find WCS is brilliant bang for the buck and will compliment your existing machines nicely.

I'm pretty excited about it for sure. I also have a 10 year old son who loves soccer and pinball too. Can't wait to squeeze in the World cup beside my Addams & Getaway HSII.
Thx for the help guys

I own a Time Machine and it's definately a keeper for me.
Has lots of nice features and the ramp shots aren't impossible, but ARE hard to get them most times.
So, not an easy-to-master-game-in-5mins scenario.
