I have a twister and a fishtales...what it gets down to is what u r going to pay.....i scored my twister in excellent home use condition and payed a guy $1800 -sydney december 09.. Its probably worth alot more (bumper action wants $3600)...I bought a fishtales jan 09 -japaneese delivered machine and i payed $2200...also worth alot more.
they r totally different machines....if u live near qld, come n play both....put it this way, twister is rare, listed at only 1600 made, but i am told by sega factory worker, really only 900.... fishtales in shopped condition is a great game..great game....twister is a great game too, but a little straight forward, but has some cool features-magnetic playfield etc etc.....look, i say take the twister for being highly collectable n modern n fun, then buy a fishtales as well later....deal/negotiate with bumper action real hard on theirs...cheers..

Thanks for your thoughts-I've never bought a machine because it's rare or collectible, I've bought them because I have a history with a title or its theme or game play-Twister well I love the theme as I love the whole weather thing(does that make me a nerd?) FT well it gets a great wrap so who knows..

I have never played twister, so I cant rate it against FT. If you like it and the price is rite grab it, they are not easy to find. FT can be bought any week, but a low wear FT is getting hard to find. Talking to Tony Pinball Shed, he said FT is really appreciating in dollar value, and demand for them is high.

Who ever rated HS2 and FT high enough for them to be 'overated'  !@#

Definately MM is most overated for me, have spent a lot of time trying to warm to it, sure it is fun, but not $7k+ fun

I think this thread proves the theory that each and every pin is liked or loathed by different people . It all comes down to personal preference ( either to the playability or the theme ).

I own a DE Star Wars and absolutely love it . A lot of people don't like DE pins but for me it is the theme more so than the game that I love . I'm a big Star Wars fan (grew up as a kid in the SW era in the early 80's )  so being able to combine two common interests (SW and pinball in general) is a win - win situation for me .
