The AP Haunted House Restoration Enters the Home Stretch
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:02:30 PM »
For anyone that remembers that rusty disaster, you'll notice things have come a long way. Top playfield is done (just waiting on some plastics for the attic) otherwise ready to go back in.

What a transformation, Nick !

Looks like a completely different playfield. Now if you Geelong boys are having a meet soon - I can drop off the plastics  #@#

Looks awesome Nick,

You should be well pleased with those results - good on you for saving that game!

So what's next for her?

Working on the basement tonight. Had to sand that one back to wood, couple of coats of clear to stabalise, overlay went down last night, and tonight the mylar has just gone on. Should be playing by the weekend I think!

I owe you more than just a game or two mate!

Thanks to your excellent plan and dimensions Ian! (And Matt's great skill in making it).

was there any wear around the attic pop bumper

Very, very minor wear, just light touch up.

do you have the green window for the main Pf

Tonyt provided 4 green display covers - I guess one might end up in there temporarily until another (and a 4 digit) is located. Or cellophane maybe ?

No Ian, I just have a clear one that originally came with my BH (replaced with blue since) that I'll use. My mate who has the plastics business says there are some green acrylics around, but no sample and I haven't got any reference to match it to. Not too sure what to do on that, might just leave the clear one in there??
