Thought I'd post a link to my Secret Service restoration from last year. This is my most successful restoration project so far. There are a couple more in the queue, but they've been there so long already I quit holding my breath some time ago.

Turned out pretty good. It's a really fun game.

No it's not! I'll update the original post if I can.

My ISP decided they just HAD to change our web page address, so here's the migrated page:
http://home.roadrunner.com/~vinchenzo/ssvc.htm

By the way, this machine goes up for sale on craigslist later today I think. Liquidation item #1.  !!!

Pulled the plug, bit the bullet, dove in the deep end...
...or was that supposed to be "pull my finger" ?

anyways, the Secret Service is up on craigslist. And thus begins the end...

No idea what these are worth in Australia, but that does sound cheap even with the currency conversion. That's what happens when you live in the US, I guess.

Good luck with the sale. It sounds like this one tidied up very nicely.

Yea it's priced to sell. THe eBay sales summary puts the average price at $825 and this one is much better than the average I'd guess. At least on the inside. There is a chunk out of the lower part of the cabinet front which I'm sure drops the price a bit. I know it's not nearly as important to have a minty cabinet, but anyways...

I'm surprised how much pins are down there, even considering the conversion. I have a TZ project that I think I'll be selling for $2500. I was hoping to get over $3200 but I don't have time to restore it, so I'll just fix a couple things and sell the collected parts separately I guess. From what I understand, my price would be a steal down there.

Anyways. Getting off track for this thread. No calls on the SSvc yet.

Good luck with the sale Vin. Nug's SS is stalled given the Coconut Island time needs, looking forward to playing it though!
