So my legs and heavy duty leg brackets finally turn up today 2 weeks later and low and behold no frigging leg levellers. (Guess where from, wasn't from mark. Altho i wish i waited and got them from him)

Cabinet is now inside with legs on & black pincab protectors, looks pretty damm sexy if i say so myself but i might be biased ;) . Ground braid all redone and installed heavy duty leg brackets for extra sturdiness. And my nice assortment of parts, decided to get a red start button instead of the yellow to try and keep the colors the same but theres no start printed on it guess i'll have to make a sticker of some sorts.

Looking good, don't forget a new supercharger from RTBB and a new door to top it all off.

You may be able to get the plastic 'start' insert out of the old start button. Very nice!

Can anyone tell me what this thing is, looks like it was attached as an afterthought for some reason. Will there be any dramas if i remove it completely. The wires for it are attached to 1 leg of the fuse and the other to the filter circled in red.

A guess would be a service outlet from the country where it was exported to?

Definitely in agreement on that one.

Yup, a hacked in convenience outlet. Safe to remove, and probably best that you do!

Cleaned and painted the hinges, they came up a treat. Stripped and sanded the backbox, have started filling. Poor thing has quite a few chips on the edges and has had previous repair done before so i've removed the old putty & cleaned the areas for filling.

Should come up a treat!  Did you paint the brackets off the gun or with a can?  They look very nice.

Can. My air compressor is horrible and has a broken water trap so it's useless for painting lol
