Can't wait to hear the engine start up and idle through that! Old woofer on the right so you can see the size difference. One side filled and ready to go, other side isn't as bad so won't take long depending on this heat. It's worse than a sauna in the shed right now.

Very cool indeed.  I've been toying with the idea of a speaker kit for the HS2...I'll be interested as to your thoughts once its in!  Make sure you give it a really good rev (with the flippers) before shooting the ball!

I think it'll sound good with the sub!

I was playing CV yesterday, and thought to myself, this game needs a sub!

Backbox painted and decaled, now i have to clean and paint 20 odd bolts wish i had a tumbler. Cleaned up the rails and installed, also cleaned up the leveller and put new decals on. Slowly starting to look like a pinball again.

Looking very very nice.

With the bolts, I put them into my cordless drill (thread end in) and spin at full speed with head into a scotch bright pad (with a bit of isocol alcohol)...They come out better than a tumbler.

Tumbler does not always do the job on leg bolts - I've never been that happy with the results. I use the buffing wheel on my bench grinder with the white compound - works a treat !

Awesome looking HS 2 - Looking GREAT  ^^^

Got the bolts all cleaned and painted yesterday. Replaced the motor on the mars lamp last night and had to redrill a hole to mount the motor, screw head snapped off when i went to remove it. Reinstalled everything into the backbox this afternoon.

Started on the playfield today. Loving the treasure cove kit, the playfield is not going to be perfect but most of the badly ground in ball lines are coming up pretty good. Pics are before and after.

I can't wait to play the finished job lol, i'll deffinently be keeping this one. With any luck the coindoor will be here tomorrow but i'm not holding my breath with aus post, other than that everything else is back in the cabinet hooked up ready to go bar the playfield which i will hopefully have polished completely and all the coil brackets etc cleaned, new coils installed that need to be changed etc by the weekend. Then the fun part of cleaning and flattening the old plastics and cleaning and reassembly of all the playfield parts.
