Will it fit?
« on: November 01, 2009, 04:40:32 PM »
Always wondered if I could fit a pin in the back of my Kia Rio .. yes, I can .
This is my Firepower going off to Ken (Skybeau) for electronics repairs.
Yes, I'm cheating .. not fixing it myself .. I have too many projects and its time this game was up and running again.
I need more room ! and more $$$

glad it fitted. would have taken odds it was a non-fit.

I drove a Kia Rio once, it was brand new.$12,990 drive away.Nice lookin little wagon BUT
I got 200 metres up the road and went straight back to the dealership.
The salesman said what is wrong, "I said the car had the grunt of 100 daddy long legs spiders under the bonnet".lol

I guess I am used to V8's and V6ers. But those Kia's are cheap to run and YOU CAN fit a pinball inside. Cant complain about that ! good job.  ^^^

If you really want a Kia pin transporter then try a Kia Grand Carnival... haven't actually tried fitting more than one, but I reckon it could fit at least two. I am pretty sure I can fit one in without removing the middle row of seating.

WOW, thats a tight squeeze!! i wouldnt've thought that would've been possible.

I occasionally transport pins in my 2000 Camry station wagon, most recently had to fit a Wms Stellar Wars in there.. a wide body game!! i didnt think THAT was going to be possible but we got it in there..lol. along with the spare tyre which i ALWAYS pull out (and the jack and wheel spanner) from its hidey hole under the rear floor if im carrying anything that big and heavy... i HATE the idea of gettin a flat tyre in the middle of nowhere with a pin in the car and not being able to get to the spare tyre. I've never needed to change a tyre whilst transporting a pin and i wont risk not being able to get at the spare *.* *.*

I also used to carry a few pins in the Escort van i used to own. Actually the first three pins i bought 20 odd years ago (Stern Stingray, Gtb Abracadabra and Bally 6million$man) i transported with the backboxes still attached and tied the doors closed! it wasnt til years later i discovered the backboxes could be unplugged and removed @.@ :lol :lol

Good topic,

I managed to fit a 26" Taito upright cab into a 3 door 1995 Hyndia Excel, just managed to shut the tailgate, its bloodly amazing what we squeeze in our family cars for this awesome hobby.

Pinballs in my collection Elvira, Stern Grand Prix, Bally Corvette, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Judge Dredd, Black Rose and Data East Guns n Roses.

I can't believe you did it. What kinda space did you have to play with. Did you actually have room for yourself or were your legs near your ears?? Well done
