Grabbed a Future Spa

Alright i bit the bullet (again). Will be buying a Future Spa. Machine from my youth so i can't let it pass. Not so ready for another machine just yet, but, with these older titles, in this condition, if i let it pass it may not happen again. Don't like my chances of finding a good priced/condition Paragon, or early SS Stern in the near future (was tempted by the' Galaxy' though), so one more pin won't hurt to keep me happy for a decent while. I'm thinking a slower game would be great, just to kick back with.

So i'll have Flash for speed, Gorgar for a challenge, and Future Spa for a slower game (also a wide body for something different), all from 1979. Sounds good to me, maybe not so good for my wallet....

I'll post some pics when it arrives.

OK wait till i get it. Not a popular title but i love the layout and look, lots of memories. Last pin i'll get for a while, got room for one more (after this), but no money for anymore.

I built myself a Future Spa once out of timber, rubber bands and nails.

Congrats on the purchase 

I owned one years ago and when I rebuilt it - I installed new flipper kits - which you really need to appreciate this machine. It is a slow game, and it is difficult to make those spinner shots with poorly adjusted flippers. So make sure they are working well to get the most out of this title !

Artwork is simply weird - but in it's day - it was popular and a good earner

Future Spa wasn't bad at all. I remember playing it back in the early 80's and it was one of the better pins around at that time.
if i had the chance to buy one in good nick for a good price i wouldn't let it go thats for sure.

For sure....I rate it as a great game....used to play it ALL the time while it was on location.

Yeah this pin gets a flogging with most opinions. Then again, 95% of people rate Flash over Gorgar (that i've read anyway), but Gorgar is getting all the attention at my place right now. I also like high-end audio, and find the same thing with opinions. Flash and Gorgar, to me, seem really ahead of their time, but FS is a bit more simple and straight out, more EM like, I'll be very happy to own it. I'm still a newbie so maybe i don't know what i'm talking about
