Puzzled

After playing my Bally Bazaar which has 27" Legs and my Jumping Jack which has 28-1/2 " for the last year I began playing my Sweethearts which has 31" legs, It feels like I need to stand on a foot stool to play it - Cant remember feeling this uncomfortable when I was younger and shorter,maybe I have shrunk in old age.
Should I put smaller legs on it ? Or is this Taboo 
Any preferences with leg height out there.

I never noticed until I got them lined up but my two Gottliebs have different size legs. Don't know if it meant to be like this

I'm a shortarse abt five five and a half. I ALWAYS remove the nuts from the front legs, crank the levellers up and wind the nuts back down from above. Then I set the overall machine levels from there. 
Yeah, the varying leg lengths are a fecking nuisance and I for one am not above (dreadful pun) surgically swapping legs over. Hooray for the old "leg over"

Both the Sweethearts and Jumping Jacks should have 31" legs

Never been one to get into Bally EMs but this list suggest the Bazaar should also have 31" legs

If you feel more comfortable with smaller legs go for it i say just keep the 31s so you can put it back to Original

Bally pre 1968 have 31 inch legs - usually chrome and non ribbed

Bally post 1968 have 28 1/2 inch legs, usually a much lighter grey than SS machines. These legs also had a different profile (1968 - 75ish), the top section is more pointed and thinner.

No...simply because they changed the shape of the entire bottom cabinet which started with Spirit of '76

The front section and door are totally different as can been seen in the pix below

Actually, I have an old set of these Bally/Williams legs I use occasionally on machines that have new legs that I don't want to install in case I scratch 'em..

They did fit on the Sinbad - check out the restore thread !

I would not recommend the Bally/Williams legs
