There was a guy opening a pinball cafe somewhere down Huntingdale (Melbourne) way from memory (open to correction on that one), but a week or two before opening there was a fire. He had plans to reopen but I don't think that has happened yet as I imagine we would have heard about it.

We seriously need that.

I had some early video games out at a mates tavern for a while, but they just end up getting trashed.

People seem to think that its ok to graffiti the machines and tip drinks in them etc. I pulled them out after 4 weeks.

:)

There are a few pins in Sydney CBD,
Windsor hotel has TZ, NF and RS
The James Squire on King Street wharf has Stern Indy Jones & t2 - good beer too brewed on premesis
The sports bar in Menzies hotel has STTNG, IJ and SS
but the best place to go would be Newtown which is just 2km from CBD which has nice pubs with pins
eg Court House hotel - Spiderman, TZ, AF, JY, Congo - and good place for a feed too
& walking distance from Courthouse is the Sandringham hotel with MM & IJ

There is a sticky on this web site which is a database of pin locations - can't find it right now but if you look around you'll find it

Unfortunately Finny has decided not to attempt to rebuild his Pin/Cafe. After all the hard work he put in the fire and subsequent crap that followed has led him to scrap the idea. Such a shame after all the hard work he'd already done.

I'm from Melbourne and I get my pinnie fix from The Cue (pool hall & bar) on Brunswick St, Fitzroy.

It had 4 good working pins last I looked: Monster Bash, Attack from Mars, Tales of the Arabian Nights & another I can't remember (err..getting old).

It's a 10 min tram ride and is a cool shopping & cafe/bar precinct.

Went to "Xanadu" kids playground in Hallam.

Has the most f***ed up Baywatch, no display, half the globes are out, can't read any of the writing on the playfield for dirt... Great machine...

Gave up on it and went and played the Sega rally twin sitting next to it, coin mech on the left didn't work, screen on the right had horizontal jitters and was moving about 6 inches left and right... Thought I was going to have a seizure...

I asked the owner (thinking they were his machines), he told me that 3 different guys come in and "look after" the machines, commented that maybe they need a new career choice...
Why is it called PMS?
Because "Mad Cow Disease" was already taken...
