Finally got a phonecall today from the freight forwarder in the USA about my new toy. I was getting a little concerned with no info over the xmas period.
I got to say a big thankyou to our fellow forum member (johnwartjnr) who lives in the USA.
I sent John an email asking if he could help out with contact in case i got stuck, and he didnt hesitate in offering to help in any way he could.
I gotta say, its times like this that you realise just how great it is to be part of a forum ( i will call it a club in hyperspace) with members all over the world.
In the end, i didnt need John to take hostages, and it worked out, but it was re-assuring to know i had help on the other side of the world.
When i heard the long drawn out beautiful accent of the American lady today calling from California, it was music to my ear (and my pocket). lol
Long live freight forwarders who help send us collectors our new toys.
