Thats a good theroy Paul. do you have a rotisserie or are you doing it the old fashion way?

If you strip down the top half of the old playfieldyou can then flip it and leave it inside the cabinet then lay the new one upside down on a blanket on the machine next to you ^^^

will do it the old way..lol...

BUT...

As it has 2 playfields....I will do the smaller upper playfield first for a start to see how I go...then install it to see if I got it right.

Thats a good idea atleast you know it works and you have less to trouble shoot if youve tested the upper one first ^^^

I made up two bits of wood, about 50 x 20mm and slightly wider than the rails on the pin. On the underside of these bits I nailed a few small blocks of wood to locate them between the side rails. These sit across the cabinet and are used to support the raised up playfield to the height of the top of the cab so you can work on it.  It works really well with the pf upside down and ok-ish with the pf the normal way - you have to jiggle things a bit to avoid fouling bit underneath.
