What would be the most you would spend on a pin?

Most of us have seen pins on ebay go for ridicules prices up to and over $20K

If you had millions of spare dollars at your disposal how much would you spend on a pin you wanted in 100% perfect condition.

So what pin would you buy and what would be your maximum price?

If money was no object I think I would spend up to $10K for a NIB Stern.

If i had unlimited funds id still be buying  pieces of crap for next to nothing but the restores would be a lot quicker withouth having to save to buy spares

If u had millions of dollars u could buy anything anytime, so the lousy amount of $8 grand for a NIB Stern is easy to do.

I think most people who earn the average take home pay would only splash out on a NIB Stern if they really really wanted that title and the ability to feel the joy of opening up a Brand New Machine. Although, Sterns 2 month only warranty, is a concern for a company who should REALLY stand behind their product.
But when ya are hooked on pinball, you are hooked on pinball.

If i had of known pinball machines like Twilight Zone existed 5 years ago, i would have bought 20 of every decent title and stockpiled the lot. Shame i didnt take any time off work to find out about the hobby. Oh well, we will have to make up for it now. lol

I would first build a big ass games room and fill it with Mint MM (not the chocolates), LOTR LE, NIB TSPP, TZ, CC, Getaway, FT, and anything else that I can fit in there......

I'd do a Spamways - a container full of games from the seventies and eighties, pile them up in the garage and one at a time, have fun bringing them back to as new.

Probably also try and pry a Kingpin out of someones hands too (hopefully Gene will when recovered might still do the repros).

$20k would be 5 NICE pins, needing little extra work.
$20k would also buy 8-10 projects needing a lil' more luvvin'....

Having a million bux and blowing $100k on a machine proves that fools and money are parted easily ;-)

This is why jackasses who win the lottery and buy 10 cars, boat etc etc have NOTHING in 10 days.
