New Backglass from CPR
« on: January 02, 2010, 05:56:54 PM »
I bought a new backglass for my williams FLASH fro CPR. Does anyone know whether I should seal the back of it with clearcoat as seems to be the standard thing to do with an older glass.

its just whatever you comfortable doing

The only thing you should do is install #47 bulbs behind it.

Yes thats a good point, were they all made too big or did Wayne have seconds?  Most likley all too big, which I hope is not the case for Fezlar's sake.

No need to seal a new glass.. look after it and run #47's behind.. shell be OK. Sealing a glass isd abit of a gamble in itself,,, if the seal shrinks it pulls the whole lot off... if artwork is adhering to glass as is - no need to seal

As mentioned - No need to seal. Use #47 bulbs behind the glass and #455 behind the word "FLASH".

Let us know how your glass is fitted as there were issues with one glass bought locally (was too big)
