First Black Hole for a while

Be interesting to see the result, these don't hit Ebay too often. $1700 with a few hours to go.

Wife was sick of non-working machine taking up deck space: "Fix it or sell it!"

Hope it wasn't sitting in direct sunlight on the deck!

I guess a trip to the tip will be in order to get rid of the rest of his junk including that washing machine he never got around to fixing.

I did have a laugh at the "We just want to reclaim our deck space with normal funiture"

Wonder if that will be picked up by eventual the buyer?

Winning bidder is taking a huge gamble on that with the lousy pic and the assumption it's been sitting outside.

+1..

a huge gamble on a non working system80. I particularly like this comment ;

"I dont think much is required to fix her though" - So if that is the assessment - why not fix it ??

Worth $1200 TOPS..

Well they paid $1700 for it - good luck with that one! Feedback of 1 on the buyer though?

I liked the "used to work" bit - translation: "The batteries have leaked all over the CPU board"...  @.@ @.@ @.@

If anybody on here got it - I have a sys 80 CPU board that came with my Sys80A machine...  !!@

EDIT: Having gone back and looked again - I think the 1700 bid is bulls**t, be interesting if this one does the revolving door trick?

Way too easy to have a "mate" bid it up to your minimum (basically a non-official reserve) and hope someone goes over. The seller mentioned the $1800 bit, so maybe it'll join that Rancho as ebay permanent fixtures??

Looking at the reflection of the picket fence and the car out the front (on the B/G) - I think it was on his front porch!  !@#

Yes, slightly suspicious user name compared to the seller's ID - but what ever the case, it is indeed back.
