worse still, someone thought wood laminate vinyl would be a good substitute for mylar on my Gottlieb Soccer and the pop bumpers each had wood laminate vinyl "protector" installed as well as in the top arch and shooter lane.

Luckily the glue is not that great and it peeled off nicely after 25 or so years
