how NOT to sell a Getaway HS 2
« on: January 14, 2010, 02:18:44 AM »
Look at this ebay listing.
I didnt like the answer when the prospective buyer asks "do u have any more photos"

the seller responds "no i dont".

I mean, why make the effort if u are only going to list one friggin photo. Are you too lazy, or just dont want to show the playfield etc.
And then some people say " i am not happy with ebay, i got a really poor price, and fifty people asked me for photos".No shit sherlock.
(if a forum member has listed this item, sorry, just be happy for the extra advertising you got, and dont worry that i thought you were a bit lazy) ^^^  @.@

I was thinking I need a new Sig for this year.. Found it on this auction ;

"It is in Good Working Order... Its a Multi Ball Machine.... Much Sort After Due to its High Skill Required To Master The Art of Getting Credits...."

Wonder if it is the same guy that once said "all your bases are belong to us" ?

Yeah pretty lazy listing that.

However, these sorts of things can work in the favour of locals who could potentially pick up a bargain, as everyone else couldn't be arsed.

Yeah I agree with Rod on this one. It could be cause the machine is trashed, but, it could be cause the seller don't know nothing and it's a ripper. Could go both ways.

I bought a great condition machine from one crappy photo on EBAY. It was described as - "4 player game, 3 balls per player."
I KNEW the owner didn't know anything, that one line nailed it for me.

Reading between the lines - the machine is at his ex's place (possibly the shack?)

Sounds like the separation was not very amicable...  #@#

Don't think she(?!) wants him there - but anyone else is welcome to have a look?

You never know - it might be a gem, and so might she!  :lol
Why is it called PMS?

I say "if in doubt, leave it out".

sounds like a con to me. If its too good to be true, its too good to be true.
