New early Stern Backglass
« on: January 14, 2010, 11:00:10 AM »
I am moving forward with using uv ink for new backglass projects this year. If anyone in Australia, wants to join my art team the offer will be the same. The shipping is for USA/Canada with the info here: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.pinball/browse_thread/thread/2dbe952718d3fdb0?hl=en#
Shipping to Europe $99 US & to Australia $135 US.
I have been talking to the guy in Germany, & they might get their future glass projects from me.

I will do any glass for old Stern if the art is done. My offer of 4 free glass to the person doing a good art file for each run of 40 - 50 glass. Rumour so far is maybe Star Gazer later this year if the guy has good results.

I got my test glass back today & it looks like it will take 3 hits of white to look perfect for uv ink. I am definitely going to move forward on small runs of glass. If anyone wants to get on my limited art team please let me know. http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e28/greatwichjohn/

The Nine Ball art package is done, & I am working on my glass order. Anything is possible if someone steps forward to do the art. Looks like Nine Ball, Seawitch, Star Gazer, Catacomb, & Lightning have been mentioned. Nine Ball & Seawitch will be out soon.

All the information was posted: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.pinball/browse_thread/thread/0e5c01001612e1e5?hl=en#
There is some talk about Gameplan stuff also between another guy & myself. Same with European glass projects.

I will try & do as much as I can to help the guys in Australia. Either a pair of glasses in same box sent out, or possibly a crate of goods sent to different cities. This could contain my product or CPR's, sent out every 6 months if the guys want to order & stockpile in one crate from a certain City or region. We are a seaport, so I could look into it if there is interest.

Thanks John

I purchased your Seawitch backglass and am very happy with the product.  My only reservation is that the glass becomes a little 'washed out' when lit, even with 47 globes.  It will be interesting to see whether your new process gets an even better result.

I have put my name down for  Nine Ball glass @@*

cheers
Ian
