Impulse purchase
« on: January 20, 2010, 10:00:32 PM »
I just bought this.......I couldn't help myself. I tried to stop my hand from left clicking on it but it was no use......

Condition looks great. I decided it was too good to pass up. :D

Ok, the remorse has passed. Second machine purchased!!!  #*# #*# #*#

Well done - I am certain you will LOVE it!

I have always liked this machine and I recently bought one for myself (YAAYYY) - it just hasn't made its way to me yet as I live a long way from pin nirvana  !!!

A Getaway is definitely good buying at that price, and this example looks like it is pretty nice. Sure, a bit of cabinet fade but most of them have that unless they have been redecaled, and the playfield looks pretty clean.

In my opinion a very worthwhile machine to own.

I know this seller it is the same guy I bought the TOM off. He lives about 1km away from me. He is very picky with his pins and no doubt this one will be a beaut. Great buy. There was an Indy sitting in that very spot when I was there last that I nearly bought.

You will enjoy his range of pins when you go pick it up also. Nice collection.

Thanks mate. A bloke up here in Newcastle knows him too and said the same thing. He's bringing the pin to me too (tomorrow!! :D) which is great. He mentioned to me that he's off loading it to make way for some new additions. He mentioned a CC (if anyone has one for sale I will pass on his details). Says he sold the Getaway for what it cost him to buy, but he's done a stack of work do it which is a big bonus for me. I can plug it in and go for it.....
