Absolutely - I was going to have a stab at $2500, but I thought that it would be better for someone else to restore (electronics at least). I had no idea it would go for under $3000 - I'm still shocked !

I'm finding this 'no interest' (more likely 'no money') trend happening even in the second-hand high-end audio game, bargains EVERYWHERE compared to even 5 months ago, and no buyers. A real shame. Any want a KICK-ARSE hi-fi set up for a bargain price, at any budget, I'll hook you up, no BS. Now is the time to buy. I already have mine (hi-fi set-up) from years ago, but shit there are some deals to be had. If you have money (which i don't), go for it now I reckon.

I'm TRYING to save for another pin, but i bet myself that i spend my pin money on second-hand audio equipment with the current prices. Unreal, honestly. Just bought some speakers this week, not needed, but C-H-E-A-P and will blow my mind.

I agree... everyone is skint bar a few. Most businesses experiencing a downturn yet prices for absolutely everything are going up ( bar pinnies)... not a lot of cash out there to throw around anymore.
House prices up
Rent up
Rates up
Basics up and up
Grog up ( put that in basics)
gas up
Electricity up and up some more

 Blah blah blah

Wages static

Not a good combination! Buggers ate my pin money!   !!!  !!!  !!!
