Boo Hoo No TOP GEAR on telly???

I'm really missing top gear !!! !!!, as I'd tune in every monday night @ 7:30pm SBS, I know channel 9 have secured the rights to this show for 2010 & beyond but does anyone here know when the season kicks off ???  !@#, soooo missing top gear, I need my top gear fi &&

I hope it starts on 9 soon, and we dont get re-runs!

SexBS must have run out of "Best of" specials...  !!! !!! !!!

I would rather Foxtel had the rights - you could then watch every episode 15 times a week...  !!@

What happened to the Aussie one? Has it died a quiet death?

I used to get everything off racingflix before they got a C&D...

If it's any consolation, check out "Monster Moves" on SBS
You wil see some SERIOUS machinery at work . . . .
I loved Top Gear, but I won't watch it on commercial TV 'cos they will f**k it up with ads, hype and bullshit.

The hype has already started. Went to Myre in the city and they now have a whole Top Gear clothing section, cardboard standup of the stig etc ... I bet channel 9 stuff it up big time

This thread reminded me about a story that was on last night (A Current Affair , Today Tonight ..  !@# One of those type shows - can't remember).

The story was about young hoon culture these days and they were putting a lot of the blame directly on Top Gear . Showed one young lad in particular driving his car on an audition tape he made . I think they said something about a comp or something to become the next Stig ..  !@# .

Typical that they are quick to just plant the blame on an easy scapegoat saying that the way they drive in the show makes young people want to drive like that. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear more about this as I reckon they will try and get the show banned ... Hope they don't  ^.^

well i was driving wreckless long before top gear

the race track we used to use in the bush and still do you would never see on any topgear. one move and you were dead

no idea at 14 how we survived in the cars we used  !@#

I'd never heard of the show until it was promoted recently - So I tuned in are really enjoyed the show. Now I know what all the fuss is about !

Excellent 2 hour show, how cool was that rocket powered mini ski jump!! ^^^

now just got to wait 2 weeks until its back on again !!!

I'd forgotten the old winter Olympics special - how good was Henning Solberg in the EVO?

I'm surprised they didn't do the old "greatest driving road" special? (James May in the Aston race car naked)

I hope Ch 9 keep running the "specials" after the "latest season" episode...
