that TV show "Talkin bout your Generation" had a small segment about Pinball last night.

The question they asked, "what was the first pinball in 1979 to have speech" as the presenter stood in front of a pinball that wasnt the one they were asking about.

Then, after the add break, they said "GORGAR".

was he right GORGAR owners    , stuffed if i know. But at least they were talking pinballs.

Yep, my lovely taped it on the IQ...Screamed out quick come down stairs.  Played the question - I answered it right of course!

Great to see pins making it on TV.  It was a very clean EM on the show too.  I don't know whether its taped in Melb or Syd but the owner should be quite chuffed.

The flyer for Gorgar had a red plastic 45rpm record - or it may have been the Leisure Line magazine - I can't remember. You could play the speech on your record player.

So do I - grabbed it from the web somewhere. It's 3mins 19 sec and about 2.5 Mb in mp3 format, complete with background crackle, hiss and pops. Not much Gorgar speak, but marketing spiel of the time.  Any of you rabid Gorgar fans out there who want a copy pm me and I 'l send it along.
