I still have that original game in my watched list.

The playfields are VERY similar - The first game had both spinners with chips of paint missing, the second's pictures are not clear.
The original had the wrong style targets, the new has decals covering them

ALL boards in the head are different from machine to machine - one has an ALTEK MPU the other has not, but it has an aftermarket lamp driver.

Undersides of the playfields are definitely not from the same game.

One of the pics in the current auction clearly show the serial number - does the previous auction have such a picture?  That would show whether it is a different machine.

BTW, nice looking KISS - not one of my favourite machines to play however.
