This was listed on Wednesday,  start bid $500

and by friday it had turned to this,   start bid $2000, bin $3500 !

not bad for a machine which after a board service and with everything working seems to have one dead display.

Exactly. Won't get $3500, that is a mess. At $2000 it is a very expensive project machine - it might "work" but I'd be surprised if there were not any wiring / connector hacks. It is easy to remove the boards and send them off for repair, but no one charges the $1500 increase for board repair !

How hard is it to take some decent photos? It just makes you think that stuff is being hidden (which I actually expect is the case here).
